The Edge Mountain Retreat is located in Hogsback. From the edge of the cliff, which runs along the side of the property, there are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and a deep gorge with beautiful, unspoilt indigenous Afromontane forest, often with a show of fascinating swirling mists and cloud formations.

Thunderstone is a thatched rondavel that sleeps 2 guests and is furnished with beautiful old furniture. The rondavel is only metres away from the edge of the cliff and has spectacular views over a deep gorge filled with indigenous forests and waterfalls, with the mountains beyond. Thunderstone contains a comfy king-size bed with a snug feather duvet, a bathroom with a double shower, and an open-plan kitchen and lounge area. The lounge area has a log fireplace. Watch spectacular sunsets and the fantastic bird life from the verandah. The ideal hideaway for honeymooners and romantics wanting something special.
