Rhodes Retreats – Den Hagen Guest Farm is situated 7 km outside the popular village of Rhodes. The farm is nestled in the Carlisle Hoek valley, which is a mere 12 km from Tiffindell Ski Resort.

The working farm offers accommodation in 3 well-equipped self-catering cottages and 1 large farmhouse. The establishment is child-friendly and caters to both large family groups as well as smaller groups or couples.

The Space
The Stables has 2 separate bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and a children’s bed. It has a large covered verandah for braai facilities. There is 1 bathroom with shower and toilet facilities. The main bedroom has a shaving basin. Both bedrooms lead into the combined dining and kitchen area. A Queen Anne stove is also part of this space to enjoy on a cold evening. Heaters are provided in all rooms. The entrance to The Stables has additional shelving that can be used as additional storage space for guests.

There is a shared games room with a large TV screen, and DSTV is available.
Braai available – bring your own wood/charcoal.

Other things to note
There is no petrol station in Rhodes. Make sure you fill your car with fuel at the nearest town to Rhodes.
The weather is unpredictable, so bring clothes for all seasons.
Limited groceries are available, especially fresh fruit and vegetables.
There are two restaurants in town and a coffee shop.
There is an info centre in Rhodes.
