Rhodes Retreats – The Hobbit Annex is attached to the Hobbit cottage, which is situated in the village of Rhodes. The Hobbit Annex is an addition to the Hobbit and has its own entrance leading from the front verandah. The annex has been carefully decorated with period furniture to retain the ambience and historic feel of years gone by.

The Hobbit Annex is ideal for short stays and is able to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. The bedroom has a double bed, and a daybed is available for a child. The bedroom leads onto a bathroom that has a shower and toilet. Linen, an electric blanket, and towels are included. A small kitchenette is available with a fridge and microwave. Tea and coffee included.

The unit also has access to a living area that has a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. The living room also has an anthracite heater, a daybed, Wi-Fi, and a dining room table, microwave, and fridge. Guests have access to a verandah on the back of the cottage as well. Braai facilities are also available.

The Hobbit Annex is conveniently situated close to pubs and eating facilities. A light breakfast is offered to guests on request in the living area from 07:00 to 09:00.

The front and back verandahs have garden benches for those who would like to relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the surrounding views.

The house is serviced by the housekeeper. She is responsible for cleaning the Annex and making the beds.
An additional fee will be charged if washing and ironing are required. Cars can be parked at the back of the house on a fenced vacant plot.
